Most recently Bríet co-wrote and starred as the leading role in the thriller short 'Duld', where she plays a high powered lawyer who one day wakes up in a dystopian reality. The short is funded by the Icelandic Film Center and to be released 2025.
This year Bríet will be seen in a leading role in a Los Angeles action feature.

Some of Bríet’s recent film credits include the one of ‘Ros’ in the Netflix comedy ‘Eurovision Song Contest: the Story of Fire Saga’, where she starred opposite Will Ferrell and Rachel McAdams, the icy ‘Vala’ in Season 4 of NBC’s ‘Blindspot’, her series regular role as the the villainous ‘Astrid’ on Amazon Prime’s ‘Life as a Mermaid’, the adventurous ‘Ingrid’ in BAFTA nominated ‘Life is Strange 2’ as well as her role in ‘Comfort’, directed by Oscar nominee Stephane Ceretti.
